Dana and Tara were united by yoga more than 10 years ago….Blah Blah personal story about how Dana and Tara met and started Raia.
We combine decades of experience (teaching yoga and business and growing brands) to help wellness entrepreneurs launch and grow their own businesses so they can share their gifts with the world.
Dana Diament
Founder, Owner Lennox Yoga, Certified Yoga Teacher
have been practicing yoga for almost twenty years. I first encountered yoga at a dance camp when I was 12 and practiced yoga in high school in place of traditional physical education. My regular practice began in my mid 20’s, at a time when I was aching in many ways. I was strongly drawn to the mental and emotional benefits I experienced and the ways in which I could find clarity, gain confidence, and connect to a peaceful place within. Born in Israel and raised in New Jersey, I now live in Byron Bay, Australia.
Professional Experience
Dana Diament is a Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance and a Registered Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist. Dana draws on over 9 years experience assisting and teaching yoga group classes and privates.
Dana is on the 200hour and 300hour teacher training faculty of both Yoga Medicine and Creature Yoga. She has been training teachers for the last 5 years. During that time she has helped 300 people become yoga teachers, personally mentored over 100 new yoga teachers, and taught on 10 teacher training programs in Hawaii, Mexico, Thailand, Napa, San Francisco, and Byron Bay.
Dana’s expertise in anatomy developed through her 500 hour teacher training with Yoga Medicine and her mentorship with Tiffany Cruikshank. She started assisting Tiffany 1 month after completing her 200 hour teacher training and has since assisted 470 hours of Yoga Medicine’s advanced teacher trainings as well as 200 plus people classes at the Asia Yoga Conference in Hong Kong, Wanderlust Festival and Ignite Yoga Conference in Sydney. As the former Yoga Medicine social media manager, she undertook a writing apprenticeship with Tiffany and fine-tuned her abilities to lecture and educate on anatomy as it applies to the yoga practice. During that time she also grew Yoga Medicine’s following by over 60,000 people in one year. She was proud to teach the Spine therapeutics module of Yoga Medicine’s Guide to Therapuetic Yoga online course available on Udemy. She is also a contributor to Well Being’s Yoga Experience, Yoga Journal, Yoga Digest and Wild magazine.
Dana has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cornell University and an associate’s degree in Graphic Design from Parson’s University in New York. The last biology class she took was her freshman year of high school over 20 years ago. She believes that anyone can learn anatomy, teach with confidence, and deliver life changing yoga classes.

Professional Experience.
My digital story began stamping the expiry date on movie tickets. Hundreds. And. Thousands. of movie tickets. After a gap year abroad, I had taken a job selling corporate movie vouchers at Greater Union cinemas, where the clever folks saw an opportunity to create an online store to sell the vouchers online. I was lucky enough to be invited along for the ride.
And by ride I mean helping manage the online store and it’s digital marketing. This meant sending lots of emails and fumbling my way through Yahoo search ads (yes, this was before Google as we know it was even on the scene...gasp!).
Since those early days I’ve been lucky enough to work across the full digital landscape (and moved from fumbling to finessed), from building complex ecommerce sites, structuring resources and teams for digital growth to using data to develop successful marketing strategies.
I’ve had the pleasure to work with some incredible brands and people along the way, like launching the digital presence for new brands QT Hotels and Art Series Hotels, creating Moet Hennessy’s first ever ecommerce and direct to consumer platform in Asia Pacific, leading General Assembly’s full-on Digital Marketing courses to reinvigorating Clean Energy Finance Corporations website and digital.
We exist to spread more light into communities beyond our own. By supporting business owners to share their wellness services in an impactful and profitable way, we can create a ripple effect to reach thousands more people and positively change the world.
